Pardons and Commutations

Hopwood & Singhal PLLC has supported numerous successful clemency petitions, with clients receiving full pardons from President Trump in both his current administration (since January 2025) and his former administration (2017-2021). Our clients also include individuals who received full pardons or commutations from both President Obama and President Biden. (Note: Clemency is a term that that includes pardons and commutations. A pardon essentially erases the conviction; a commutation is a reduction in a sentence.)

Our process is simple:

We draft your pardon application.
We help you compile supporting letters to accompany your application. These letters can come from your friends and family, community leaders, relevant organizations, Members of Congress, former judges, former prosecutors, and so on. We will help you identify individuals who are willing to write a letter in support of your pardon or commutation.
We advocate for you.
